Join a growing Civil Construction company based in Napier and become an integral part of our dynamic team. TOA Civil Construction are seeking experienced STMS & TMO personnel to join their team. The successful candidate will join a highly motivated team working on project sites across the Hawke’s Bay region. We are looking for an experienced person to join our team and develop the traffic management capacity at TOA.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 3 year Traffic management experience.
Full license (Class 2 or higher beneficial).
STMS - Level 1 or higher.
Hold a current STMS/TMO certification.
Able to train and upskill Traffic Controllers and junior STMS.
A positive can-do attitude and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will work closely with the company management and construction teams to deliver a wide range of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Operating company machinery as directed including trucks, utes, and associated equipment or tools.
Reliable, problem solving abilities and people skills.
You will have a can-do attitude, strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and motivate your team.
Working alongside other employees or contractors effectively and efficiently as required to manage the timely completion of projects.
Running site works and teams to complete the required projects.
Adhering to company and site specific health and safety requirements.
Completing health and safety systems (app based).
Adhering to company policies and procedures.

This is a permanent full time role, with use of a company vehicle (with suitable experience) and competitive hourly rates. Start date is negotiable.
YOU MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN NEW ZEALAND TO APPLY FOR THIS JOB.
The position is permanent full time for a minimum of 40 hours per week. You must be able to work Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday.
